Ordering Guidelines
Here are a few guidelines to assist you in the ordering process.
- All prices to not include GST.
- Dellows Kitchen requires three days notice of catering bookings. This ensures full menu selection and optimal pricing. However, as we also operate our cafe seven days a week, we are usually able to cater for late orders as well.
- Minimum quantities for ordering: finger food/canapés - twenty people. Working luncheons, buffets, platters etc - ten people. This is a general guideline. Please talk to Liz should you require smaller numbers.
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit three days before pickup. The balance of the account must be paid upon collection of food, unless other arrangements have been made.
- Final guest numbers must be confirmed 48 hours before the morning of the function.
- Dellows Kitchen can present your food in three ways:
- In disposable cake boxes ready to replatter at the venue.
- On our platters - garnished and ready to serve. There is a small hireage charge for platters and these must be returned to the shop by 8am the next day (unless other arrangements have been made). We can also arrange to have the platters collected by our couriers.
- On recyclable cardboard platters, garnished and ready to serve. There is a small platter charge for this option.
- Delivery can be arranged Auckland-wide using couriers. Pricing for this can be discussed at the time of booking. For food safety reasons, all food is delivered cold and becomes the responsibility of the purchaser at this point. Where food is to be heated, this will have been discussed with the customer previously and instructions will be provided.
- Breakages, unreturned items and lost items must, unfortunately, be charged to the customer.
